Linea Nigra
Well now I am sure I just got a huge hormone dump because all of a sudden I have a Linea Nigra (dark line) running from my belly button down to my pubic bone. It is caused by pregnancy hormones that increase production of the pigment melanin and usualy happens in the third trimester. I can't believe how bang on my internal clock is, I mean I just started my third trimester 2 days ago!

I have been wondering what linea negra looks like!!
I have been noticing my linea negra, too! But only in the mirror, since I can't see much past my belly button just looking down :)
I think I have those jammies! But no linea negra yet.
I have to comment because I cant believe what I am reading!!! I am pregnant with my second child.. 30 weeks now and HATING every minute of it!!! It is the worst I have EVERY felt in my life!!! I wish I could be positive like all of you. I had the linea negra with my first but so far nothing this time.. THANK GOD!!!
im only 12 weeks and i already have this line, could be that i see it already because i am black?
